Latest news on the civil unrest that broke out in Dublin following the mass stabbing outside a primary school on 23 November 2023.

On 23 November 2023 five people, including a five-year old girl and a 30-year old woman, were injured after being stabbed outside a primary school in Parnell Square East, Dublin. Unrest started near the site of the attack a few hours later, with a crowd of around 100-200 members reportedly threw fireworks and bottles at Gardaí officers. During the riot, vehicles were set on fire and multiple shops and businesses were looted. At the peak of the riot, the size of the crowd grew to approximately 500 people. By 22:00, the rioters had been dispersed after 400 Gardaí officers were deployed, with 34 people arrested.
